1982

Title1

Wah Tat Group, originally named Wah Tat Wooden Work Metal & Tool Hong, was established by a young carpenter and entrepreneur, Mr. Man Kit Ho. The company set up its prime location in Mongkok, Hong Kong, laying the foundation for its future as a leader in MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) with a strong market presence.

1990

MUJINGFANG(R) hand tools became a popular brand in Asia, marking the beginning of Wah Tat Group’s expansion into a diverse product range and increasing its brand portfolio.

2000

Enhanced logistics capabilities to ensure timely deliveries, introducing same-day delivery services, strengthening customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This move solidified the group’s reputation for reliability and responsiveness.

2003

Introduced a new line of laser measuring tools, including brands like Leica, Bosch, Beiter, Laisai, Shinwa, Knight and Sunlon, expanding the product range and enhancing the precision tool offerings across Asia.

2004

Expanded into Aluminum Goods, including industrial grade tile cutters, tripods, and tool mounts, broadening the product portfolio and meeting the diverse needs of customers.

2011

Continued to diversify and expand the tools range by including world-class Power Tools & Hand Tools, featuring brands such as Tajima, KDS, Worx, Beiter, Japan Star, and Numax. This solidified the group’s position in the MRO market, servicing a wide range of businesses in Hong Kong and surrounding countries in Asia.

2015

Introduced a comprehensive range of safety products, including the brand Grace, quickly capturing 40% of the safety product sales market in Hong Kong. This initiative underscored Wah Tat Group’s dedication to safety and innovation.

2016

Beiter Technologies USA LLC led by Vice President Jennie Ho was established in San Francisco, California, further expanding Wah Tat Group’s international footprint and reinforcing its commitment to global growth.

2022

Recognized as an honorable contributor to the Chinese and global community in building culture preservation and STEM education. The company received the “CHINESE INTANGIBLE CULTURAL HERITAGE IN WOODWORKING” award, highlighting the company’s cultural and educational contributions.
